By Rebecca Fox After 20 years as principal of Liberton Christian School, Nel van’t Wout has her own office. The school officially opened a new administration area comprising a principal’s office, reception area and staff-room on Friday. Ms van’t Wout said for staff to have their own space was fantastic. The principal and staff had shared one small space. “Our other one was like a broom cupboard. This is very light and bright.” The integrated three-classroom school, which has 72 pupils to year 8 level, funded the project itself. Some of the labour was done voluntarily. It was opened by architect and former pupil Elizabeth Lee. Board members, parents and former pupils attended the opening. Otago Daily Times, November 1, 2004
